Welcome to "o vale da mudança"

Our holiday accommodation is in the center of the Alentejo. Alentejo is a quiet, non touristic region in the south of Portugal. There are a lot of possibilities all year around.



We have our own guesthouse "Casa a Oliveira". We also take care of the management of two guesthouses "Monte da Madeira" and a rental guesthouse "Casa do Poço". The two houses are within walking distance of each other as well as each having their own swimming pool.

Visitors that are interested in culture and history can enjoy themselves at the Roman excavations, quaint museums, picturesque villages, and towns like Beja, Evora and Serpa.

Or maybe one would enjoy a journey amongst age old churches and armadas to admire century old frescos. Nature lovers can enjoy several areas for walking whether it is through beautiful forests, alongside pastures, or reservoirs. Birds and small wildlife may accompany you on these routes.

Not forgetting those who enjoy a more active excursion, there is plenty for you whether you want to work out your muscles by carting, surfing, or maybe a power walk.
